Overall number of Members Committed to Issa Grows to 79

 Washington, DCRep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) today announced that he has secured 79 votes for his bid for Policy Committee Chairman and released the names of 10 additional Members who have committed to his run in the last 24 hours.  Issa has now released the names of 46 supporters in his bid for Policy Chair.

 “Our campaign for Chairman of the Republican Policy Committee has clear momentum,” said Issa spokesman Frederick Hill.  “As Members hear more about Rep. Issa’s work in the California Recall and his many contributions over the years to help Republicans in tough races, they are moving to support us.”
